Available Training Sessions for Processing Travel in Workday

Effective May 1, domestic travel for faculty, staff and graduate students will be allowed while following all safety guidelines before, during and after travel.

For many of you this will be your first time in approximately a year that you will be processing travel, not to mention in a new system!

For this reason, the Travel Office will be conducting several training sessions and open office hours for the entire month of May. These sessions have been posted on the EDP Calendar. For those sessions that have been designated as open office hours, these will not be formal training sessions, but if you have a question, you can pop into the session to ask your question and receive guidance. It is just another opportunity to receive assistance, and who knows, someone else may be asking a question while you are there that is going to help you as well! It is just another great way to connect. For the office hours, the zoom link will be included on the EDP calendar.

For the official training sessions, you must register, and a link will be sent to you the evening prior to the session. The May training sessions will cover different topics. Please see the event description for more information.

In addition to the sessions offered by the Travel Office staff, a representative from Anthony Travel will be available May 19 and 20 to conduct an overview of using the Concur Booking tool. Remember, if you are utilizing an Administrative Travel Card or Traveler Card to pay for airline purchases, you must book through Anthony Travel either using the Concur booking tool or contacting an agent, unless you have received an exemption by the Travel Office. Registration for those sessions is available on the EDP Calendar.
